Telling your loved ones about your wishes for end-of-life care is one of the greatest gifts you can give them. What does "quality of life" mean to you? Who do you want to make decisions if you do not? How will Pennsylvania laws and medical ethics affect you? Longtime AH member Jenni Levy has decades of experience as a physician helping patients and families work through these decisions and more. This will be an informal, interactive session to help you explore your values, your options and learn about the documents you need to have peace of mind.
Jenni Levy, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Palliative Care. She is a Fellow of the American Academy on Communication in Healthcare and has 30 years of experience, including a decade as medical director of a non-profit hospice. She has special training in relationship-centered communication, motivational interviewing, and end-of-life communication.
